How It Started
The journey began with gemstones, raw, breathtaking, and full of history. In her years in the jewelry industry, Sakshi was endlessly drawn to carved stones, imagining what they could become. What started as a one-woman pursuit soon connected her to a legacy far older than her own.
Founded in 1845, Ganeshi Lall & Son has been a leading dealer in Indian art and jewelry for 180 years, with showrooms once spanning Cairo, Calcutta, Los Angeles, New York City, and its home in Agra.
Today, Sakshi carries this heritage forward with a fresh, contemporary vision—shaping the next chapter of a remarkable family story.
The Brand and the Face Behind It
Na-ari is a silver jewelry label that weaves together the elegance of Indian tradition and the ease of modern design. Inspired by carved gemstones, Mughal motifs, and age-old Rajasthani artistry, the brand was founded by Sakshi Mehra — a designer who believes jewelry is more than beauty; it’s identity.
"I've always been drawn to the grace of traditions, the textures of old jewelry, the feel of carved stones. With Na-ari, I wanted to create pieces that feel like they’ve always belonged to you."
— Sakshi
Our Purpose
Na-ari exists to celebrate the timeless strength and beauty of women through handcrafted silver jewelry. It’s a space where tradition is honored, and self-expression is celebrated.
"My aim is simple — to design jewelry that carries meaning. Pieces that speak softly, but powerfully, to the women who wear them."
Our Vision
To create jewelry that makes women feel seen, strong, and beautiful from the inside out. Na-ari believes adornment should feel empowering, like putting on a little piece of your story.
